HG Eyeliner: Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner & Studio Liquid Liner

Hello ladies, this time my post will be about my recent favorite eyeliners.

For me, applying eyeliner to my upper eyes is a must. I can go out without foundation, blush or lipstick but no without eyeliner. It gives my eyes more definition and makes me feel beautiful. I like a bold line because it makes my eyes more sharp and pop that’s why I prefer liquid liner instead of pencil and gel. I only use pencil or gel liner if I’m in a rush, usually in the morning or when I am late for school or appointment. I can’t go out without eyeliner because I’m using glasses for my daily activities and the glasses makes my eyes look smaller and dull. 

For school I usually go with a black, brown or ash eyeliner because it feels more formal and not out of place (imagine wearing pink or green eyeliner to school -_-;). So for school and formal occasion I’m using Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in black from Maybelline.

For hang out or any playful occasion I feel OK using color liner like green, blue or purple combined by pink or nude lipstick because, again, I like my eyes to be the center of attention.  So for this occasion I love to use Studio Liquid Liner in plum purple from NYX.

Brush:

Hyper Glossy and Studio Liquid Liner

From this photo you can see the Hyper Glossy has a longer handle, so it gives you a better control of the brush. It’s recommended for makeup newbies who is still learning how to use a liquid liner. The brush is thin and tapper, it allows you to draw a very thin line. Studio Liquid Liner has a shorter handle but it has also a shorter wand so even though the handle is shorter than Hyper Glossy you can still have control on this liner. The brush a little bit bigger than Hyper Glossy, but with a light hand you can still have a thin line.

Finish and Staying Powder:

Up: Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner, Down: Studio Liquid Liner

These liner gives you a glossy and pearly finish. At first I prefer a matte finish but glossy finish is OK for me.  As for the Studio Liquid Liner the plum color will showed up in a bright place, in a dark place it appears black. Now let's talk about e staying powder.

These liners still stay put in a flowing water. So with a splashing water it still OK, so you can wash your face and just dab it with towel without rubbing it if you don’t want raccoon eyes. Because when you rub it...

Yup, the liner will be flake off like the picture above. So sad these liners are not water or rub proof. But still  love this liner because it didn’t smudge if you not rub your eyes. For me it’s OK since I never wash my face when makeup is still on my face.

Price:

Hyper Glossy is about Rp 35.000 which is cheap! Also you can find this everywhere. I purchased the Studio Liquid Liner from online shop which the price will be cheaper, so I bought this for about Rp 90.000.
