Suis Butcher

Everybody in Bandung will certainly know about this famous steakhouse in Bandung. Yup, it's Suis Butcher. 

A couple of days ago, me and my boyfriend were celebrating our anniversary and decided to celebrate that moment in a restaurant that served a real steak. That day was rainy and since we arrived much earlier (it's 5 PM and we are supposed to eat dinner) so we ordered some coffee first. Both of us ordered cappuccino. 

We were placed in a non smoking room (and somehow I regret it because they have a nice place outside). But the rooms is comfy enough with the sofa and dim light. It looks bright on the photo because if I captured the room as it is, it will be so dark.


 

After a couple of minutes the waiter brought us our cappucino and this big jug of water, pretty enough for four persons.  The cappuccino is kinda dissapointing, it taste like an average cappuccino you can buy everywhere in sachet, but the price is cheap (about 13.500 Idr).

 

At 6 PM, we started feeling hungry and decided to order our dinner. My boyfriend (who is a truly meat lover) ordered Sirloin Ala Suis cooked rare and for myself  Tenderloin Parmegiana cooked medium. I was intended to change the condiment into smashed potato but I forgot -___-;

The food arrived quite fast and I'm impressed cause I imagine because it is a steakhouse it will take longer for your order to come. So here is my food

Tenderloin Parmegiana

The served food looks exactly seemed like what it was described in the menu.

"Grill Tenderloin disajikan dengan kentang bumbu, broccoli cheese, saus tomat dan keju parut."

 For me, the sauce was good but compared with the sauce in Gigglebox resto (I'll review it later) it taste just so so, but when I taste it with the melted cheese covered on top suddenly it taste yummy. The meat was quite impressive, it is thick and juicy since I ordered it cooked medium. As expected from tenderloin, it is a little bit hard to chew. Overall this is taste fine.

Move on to my boyfriend's food. Sirloin Ala Suis.

Sirloin Ala Suis

I'm sorry for the washed out picture. I don't know why it looks so different with the picture above, I captured it with the same mode as I do with the picture above. It is sirloin steak, cooked rare, with french fries and salad covered with mayo (nyum, I love mayo). Different from my food, the steak didn't covered with the anything except oil and the meat's juice.The meat is so soft  and more juice came out of the meat since it cooked rare. 

Tenderloin Parmegiana is about 45.000 Idr and Sirloin Ala Suis is about 44.000 Idr exclude the 10% tax. With that reasonable (and affordable) price I absolutely will come again. For you who are meat lovers this is highly recommended for you.
