Revlon Photo Ready Concealer Review

Every woman has a dream of a flawless skin but sadly, not everybody blessed with a perfect skin.  Thank goodness somebody has invented this amazing tool named concealer.

As you may know, concealer covered my imperfection that foundation cannot cover like pimples, redness, acne scar or under eye circles. I realized I don’t have a perfect flawless skin so I have to find my way to cover my ‘fun stuffs’. I searched and blog-walking to find a drugstore concealer that has many ranges of shades. There it is! I finally choose Revlon Photo Ready Concealer as my first concealer.

www.drugstore.com

I bought this concealer around October 2012 and it nearly finished so I borrowed this drugstore photo because mine is not in shape anymore :p .  As you have seen from the picture above it came with a stick packaging. At the first sight, I thought it will be hard to use. But when I applied it has a creamy texture that glides smoothly and easy to blend. I’m using medium shade number 4, the color that actually a little bit lighter on my skin but the color is quite undetectable after you blend it on your skin and you can build the coverage if you still need more. When I applied it on my skin, I notice it has shimmers but not too much.

Hello there, my bare face

Apply and blend, blend, blend!

Taraaaa!

As you can see it hides 70 percent of my redness and some of my acne scars. Sadly, it turned out to be ashy when I use it to cover my raccoons eyes. I need a more yellowish shade to cover it.

Another good news are it has no fragrance and came with SPF 20. Aside of using it to conceal, I also used it as a highlighter and an eyeshadow base. When it is used as a highlighter I applied it on my brow bone, nose bridge and on the highest point of my cheeks. But do not use it on your dry skin because it will accentuates the dryness. It stays on my face for about 5-6 hours on my face although it is fade away after 3-4 hours.

Price : IDR 75.000 (affordable)

Pros:
-          Glides and blend so well
-          Nice coverage
-          Buildable
-          Has long staying powder
-          Can be used as a highlighter and eyeshadow base

Cons:
-          Accentuates my dry skin
-          Turned to be ashy on my under eye circle
